Telinno consulting, a leading telecoms consulting firm in West Africa urgently require
3 x 2G/3G Network Optimisation Engineer to work on a 2G/3G Optimisation project.
We are ideally looking for candidates who have worked within the mobile telecommunications field with strong
2G Optimisation experience and with exposure to 3G mobile networks.

Skills required:

• Knowledge of Ericsson tools is a MUST

• Radio Network Optimisation techniques – RNO techniques required to maintain a network on a day to day basis,
how to analyse stats, how to troubleshoot problems, how to improve KPI's etc.

• OSS/STS – how to use OSS (including the OSS RNO tool suit) and STS to analyse and optimise a network efficiently.

• CNA – how to use CNA for daily tasks of maintaining a network.

• Parameters – methodologies for trialling and tuning parameters to improve network performance.

• Features – methodologies for trialling, implementing and tuning features to improve network performance.
Specific features covered would be dependant on Celtel's strategy but could include Multi-band Cell and AMR.

• Data networks – methodologies and strategies for rolling-out, optimising and troubleshooting GPRS/EDGE networks.

• Site Planning – Site planning strategies and techniques for designing a cost effective but high performance network.

• Site Verification – Methodology for ensuring newly integrated sites are performing as planned and optimally.

• Drive testing and analysis – conducting successful drive tests and analysing the data successfully to gain
maximum improvement from the network.

• Handling of Customer complaints – how to successfully deal with customer complaints including knowing
when to make changes and when helping one customer will hurt many more.

• GPRS & EDGE optimization techniques

• WCDMA WCDMA (UMTS) Radio Network Design, Tuning and Optimization
